2022 Annual Report of the Chief Medical Officer of Health

It has been three years since the pandemic swept across the globe, resulting in lockdowns in Ontario and most of the world. During the first year of this crisis, our region excelled under the leadership of Dr. Kieran Moore, who helped make it the best in the province.

The 2022 Annual Report released by Dr. Moore highlights the efforts and successes of Ontario’s public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as ongoing work to improve the health of Ontarians. Key areas covered in the report include the response to COVID-19, the vaccine rollout, mental health support, and initiatives to address health inequities. The report also discusses future plans for public health in Ontario, including increasing access to healthcare and continuing efforts to combat COVID-19. Read here:
