Back to School

Students were back to school today! I’m pleased to say that our government is committed to enriching student learning in Ontario. Since 2018, we’ve focused on core skills like reading, writing, and math, ensuring that our students build a strong educational foundation. Here’s what we’ve achieved so far:

1. Hiring over 3,500 additional Educational Assistants to enhance learning support in schools.
2. Boosting mental health funding in education by over 550%.
3. Signing deals with education unions to ensure yearly wage increases for our dedicated educators.
4. Adding 7,500 teachers and education workers to our schools to provide better support to students.
5. Continuously investing in the recruitment and retention of education workers who are the backbone of our classrooms.
