The Ontario government is taking proactive measures to address labour shortages and provide young people with exciting career opportunities. By allowing grade 11 students to transition into full-time skilled trades apprenticeship programs, we are giving them the chance to gain valuable training and experience in high-demand fields. And by enabling these young workers to apply for their Ontario Secondary School Diploma as mature students upon receiving their Certificate of Apprenticeship, we are creating a clear path toward success.
