I had the pleasure of visiting the fantastic team at Community Care for Central Hastings today, where we celebrated a significant boost to their volunteer program, thanks to a $60,000 Ontario Trillium Foundation grant. This funding is a game-changer, enabling the development of innovative volunteer recruitment strategies.
It’s great to see how this grant will support essential services like Meals on Wheels and home help, ensuring seniors and adults with disabilities in Madoc, Marmora, Stirling, and Tweed can continue to live independently and vibrantly.
