Congrats Tori & Kennedy
January 5, 2024
This week marked a historic moment for women’s hockey as Montreal faced off against Ottawa in the newly founded PWHL with a record-breaking attendance of 8,318 fans.
A special shoutout to Victoria (Tori) Howran from Bancroft, who is playing for Ottawa, and Kennedy Marchment from Marmora, who is representing Montreal. Their rise to the professional ranks in the PWHL is a proud moment for our community.
This milestone in women’s hockey couldn’t have been achieved without the dedication and hard work of countless individuals who have contributed to the growth and recognition of the sport. Here’s to the bright future of the PWHL and women’s hockey.
We are all cheering you on! Go Tori and Kennedy!
