I was very pleased to visit Town of Deseronto yesterday afternoon to announce that Ontario is investing up to $2,758,487 to replace the Town’s aging water tower with a modern, efficient water distribution system.
This project will help ensure safe, reliable water service for residents and businesses, support future housing and economic growth, and strengthen local resilience in the face of extreme weather.
My thanks to Mayor Dan Johnston, Council, and municipal staff for their ongoing work on this file, and to FordNation and Todd McCarthy for continuing to support small, rural and northern communities like ours.
This is a big step forward for Deseronto, and I’m proud to see this level of investment in our region.
