Funding For Local Infrastructure Projects

Today, Minister Todd McCarthy announced an additional $700 million in provincial funding to upgrade water and wastewater infrastructure across Ontario.

I’m very proud that Hastings–Lennox & Addington will receive more than $29 million of that investment to support local projects — helping families, farms, and businesses rely on safe, modern systems for years to come.

This funding will ease pressure on local ratepayers and give our municipalities the stability they need to plan for the future. My thanks to Minister McCarthy, our local councils and staff, and the front-line water operators who do this critical work every day.
