Grant for the Addington Highland Public Library

Addington Highlands Public Library, an integral part of our community for nearly 90 years, has received a grant from the Ontario Trillium Fund. Libraries in the modern world offer so much more than just books – they are centres for learning, creativity, and community interaction. This funding will enable AH Public Library to broaden its capabilities, providing residents with enhanced technology both in the library and at home.

The grant also supports a new initiative to offer more active technology tools to engage and educate kids and adults alike. This is a phenomenal opportunity for this community.

In the photo, you may notice a desk that has been a silent witness to our community’s history. It’s full of signatures dating back to Ernestown Reeves in 1932!

I can’t wait to see this library continue to evolve and serve our community for many more years to come.
