Yesterday marked an exciting Day 1 at the Hastings County Plowing Match & Farm Show in Deseronto, where innovation met tradition. From the state-of-the-art farming technology on display to lively plowing competition, this event truly encapsulates the heartbeat of our rural communities.

It was great to connect with local farmers, who are the backbone of our agriculture and the stewards of our land. Their dedication, resilience, and ingenuity never cease to amaze me. We were very happy to have the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Lisa Thompson and Shadow Minister of Agriculture, John Barlow, MP Foothills from Alberta, join us.
