Health Care Continued Investments

Across the country, we are facing a shortage of healthcare professionals of all types. We should have seen this coming 15 years ago and started taking action then, but we have only recently begun to address the issue.

Ontario’s been taking steps to bolster our healthcare workforce. With 63,000 new nurses and nearly 8,000 new doctors registering to work in Ontario, along with 27,000 future nurses in training, there’s hope on the horizon.

Together, we must continue to invest, innovate, and support the growth of our healthcare system to ensure that we meet the needs of our community both now and in the future.
