Very pleased to join my colleague Todd Smith in announcing additional funding through the Homelessness Prevention Program and Indigenous Supportive Housing Program. Hastings County Community and Human Services will receive $6,142,600 – an 80% increase, and Prince Edward-Lennox & Addington Social Services will receive $2,454,600 – a 125% increase. This is a first of a 3-year commitment. This funding will help local service providers develop programming and social housing supports to address homelessness and the causes of homelessness.
