Honouring Veterans

Our government is honouring veterans for their pivotal role in shaping our nation’s past and future by introducing the Honouring Veterans Act, 2024 which will:

• Expand recognition to all veterans

• Condemn acts of stolen valour

• Recognize the contributions of veterans to their community

Veterans have made tremendous sacrifices to make Ontario and Canada the best place to live, work and raise a family.

That’s why our government is supporting veterans and their families in need by increasing financial support from $2,000 to $3,000 per year through the Soldiers’ Aid Commission.
