Hospitality Workers Appreciation Day

Today is the first-ever Hospitality Workers Appreciation Day in Ontario.

Across Hastings–Lennox & Addington and North Hastings, hospitality workers are often the first faces people meet in our diners, cafés, restaurants, hotels, event spaces, and local attractions.

They help mark celebrations, support community events, welcome visitors, and sometimes simply provide a warm conversation and a familiar place to gather.

Hospitality plays an important role in our local economy and in the everyday life of our communities.

To all hospitality workers across our region, thank you for the work you do and the care you bring to it.
