Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pause to honour the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered in the Holocaust, along with the many other victims of Nazi persecution.
It is our responsibility to ensure “Never Again” is more than a slogan. That means teaching the truth about the Holocaust, standing firmly against antisemitism wherever it appears, and rejecting all forms of hatred and dehumanization — including racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of bigotry.
May our remembrance move us beyond words into action, so that the hatred that fueled the Holocaust never takes root again.
