Investing in First Nations Public Libraries

The Ontario government is investing an additional $1.25 million annually in First Nations public libraries like the Kanhiote Library. This funding will ensure vital resources and programming continue to be available to the communities they serve. As we continue on our journey of Truth and Reconciliation, providing information and education curated and managed by First Nation communities is essential. I am pleased to see our government more than doubling our support for these important cultural assets.
