Investing in Upgraded Learning Spaces

Today I joined Minister Nolan Quinn at Queen’s University for an important announcement about new investments in our colleges and universities. Our government is investing $242 million in upgraded learning spaces and equipment so students can train on the same kinds of tools they’ll use in the workplace.

At Queens, that includes high-fidelity simulation mannequins and other hands-on training tools for future health-care professionals — giving students realistic, practical experience before they ever step into a clinical setting.

These investments will help ensure students are ready to serve our communities and support a strong Ontario economy. Thank you to Minister Quinn, and thank you to Queen’s University for hosting and to all our post-secondary partners preparing the next generation.
