Investing in Women’s Futures

The Ontario government is expanding the Investing in Women’s Futures program to 10 new locations across the province, including one new one in Kingston, to help more women who experience social and economic barriers connect to support and develop the skills they need to gain financial security and independence.

Maggie’s Resource Cente in Bancroft is one of the 33 Women’s Futures programs across the province. They offer crisis counselling, court support and many other supports.

This expansion is part of a $6.9 million investment over the next three years to enhance the program and create more economic opportunities for women.
