Investment in Healthcare

With the budget now passed, we’re making a significant investment in healthcare. We’re allocating an additional $33 million over three years to train more Ontario doctors. Starting in 2023, we’ll be adding 100 undergraduate medical seats, along with 154 postgraduate medical training seats. Our priority is to address the physician shortage and give opportunities to Ontario residents trained at home and abroad. Together, we’ll build a robust healthcare system for all.
