Invisible Disabilities Week

This week is Invisible Disabilities Week, a time to raise awareness about the challenges faced by individuals living with invisible disabilities. It’s important to remember that just because a disability isn’t visible doesn’t mean it isn’t real.

For instance, many people using accessible parking may not have visible signs of their disabilities. Similarly, some individuals may use a wheelchair only part of the time. Let’s foster understanding and compassion in our community by recognizing that everyone’s experience is unique. Together, we can create a more inclusive environment for all!
