Honoured to join the Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans Club in Hastings Highlands — a place that has been at the heart of the Madawaska Valley region for more than 50 years.
Since first opening its doors in 1972, the ANAF has been a steady, welcoming presence — a space where veterans, seniors, and neighbours come together for friendship, food, and community.
I’m proud to share that the Province of Ontario is investing $76,400 through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to upgrade the kitchen, front entrance, and fire escape, ensuring this vital gathering place continues to serve the community safely for years to come.
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, veterans, and community members who make this hall such a cornerstone of northern Hastings County.
