Maple season is here

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there are some great local options to get out, enjoy the fresh air, and celebrate one of our favourite traditions.

The Salmon River Sugar Bush in Tamworth is hosting Spring into Maple on March 21–22, with pancake breakfasts, wagon rides, live music, sugar bush tours, and of course plenty of maple treats.

In Madoc, the O’Hara Mill Homestead is also hosting a Sugar Bush event on March 22. It’s a great chance to experience a bit of local history while enjoying classic maple season favourites.

Events like these highlight the traditions, local businesses, and volunteers that make our communities special.
