New Elder Care Home for Tyendinaga

Yesterday marked an extraordinary moment for Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory as we broke ground on a new Elder care home.

A special thank you to Minister Paul Calandra for his steadfast commitment to providing 128 long-term care beds tailored to the needs of our community. The Elders in our community deserve to have good places to live out their final years in close connection to their own communities.

I’m grateful for this government living up to its promise and partnering with all levels of government to provide this needed housing.
