Great to be in Newburgh for the 31st Annual The Newburgh Canal Bash
Shelby Kramp-Neuman MP and I enjoyed the pancake breakfast at this year’s Newburgh Canal Bash and had a great opportunity to connect with families, volunteers, and organizers who make this event such a strong community tradition.
Thank you to the Newburgh Firefighters Association and everyone behind the scenes who put in the work to make the day a success.
I was glad to drop the puck for the hockey tournament and take in the afternoon festivities.
Hayes Hot Fries were once again a highlight — a Canal Bash staple. Many will remember Pete Hayes and the countless hours he spent preparing potatoes year after year. It was meaningful to see that tradition continue.
