Todd Smith, Minister of Energy, announced that our government has directed the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) to acquire 4,000 MW of new electricity generation resources. This plan will provide reliable and affordable electricity to support economic growth and electrification while keeping costs down for businesses and families.
