North Hastings Community Trust Announcement

North Hastings Community Trust started as one person and a board of directors trying to give financial support and relief to those in need. Since then, they have grown, providing programming, food, a community garden, a warming centre shelter, counselling, and so much more! They are a truly amazing grassroots organization. They see a need, and just do what it takes to provide some help.

I was happy to join in the announcement and celebration of a $28,600 Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and grateful to know that the provincial government is providing some funding to allow the North Hastings Community Trust to do this fantastic work. Thank you to all those involved.
