Ontario Expanding Pharmacist Services
Ontario is expanding the services provided by pharmacists. They’ll now be able to treat and prescribe for:
- Parasitic worms (pinworms and threadworms)
- Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy
This is in addition to the 13 common ailments they’ve been handling since January. More convenient access to care right in our local pharmacies means reducing wait times at clinics and hospitals. Just another step in Ontario’s plan for connected and convenient care.
