Pink Shirt Day
Today at Queen’s Park, we wore our pink shirts in solidarity for #pinkshirtday.
Let’s not forget the origins of this important movement. It started in 2007 when two students stood up against the homophobic bullying of a peer for wearing a pink shirt. This act of solidarity sparked a global awareness campaign, emphasizing that the fight against bullying and promoting inclusivity and acceptance for all.
Today, as we wear pink, let’s remember to champion the values of kindness, empathy, and respect every day.
