Honoured to join the Tsi Kanonhkhwatsheriyo Indigenous Interdisciplinary Primary Care Team to announce our government is investing over $2.1 million to help connect up to 2,121 people in Tyendinaga and Bancroft to primary care!
This additional capacity to provide culturally appropriate services will not only serve the Indigenous community, but also provide increased capacity for services across the region.
Our government is also investing over $2.6 million in Hastings Prince Edward Ontario Health Team which includes funding for primary care in Central Hastings, Bancroft, and Tweed!
Working with these local health teams, the province is delivering on its commitment to make primary care attachment a realty for everyone in Ontario.
