Today, Solicitor General @MPPKerzner introduced bold measures that will help #ProtectOntario communities and keep streets safe.
If passed, the Protecting Ontario’s Streets and Communities Act, 2026 will:
- Protect transit riders by cracking down on illegal drug use on transit
- Improve protections for victims of human trafficking
- Strengthen oversight of the towing and private security industries
- Give law enforcement stronger tools to keep communities safe
