Quinte Health Funding Announcement

I was pleased to join my colleague MPP Todd Smith and local mayors this Friday at Quinte Health Belleville General Hospital, where we announced a significant funding increase. Our four local hospitals will receive an additional $15.65 million in operating funds this year, marking a 7.7% increase in annual funding.

During our visit, we joined the morning bed scrum to hear firsthand from various department teams about how they manage patient flow and staffing. Their dedication, compassion and efficiency was nothing short of impressive. A heartfelt thank you to all the Quinte Health team leaders, managers, and frontline care providers.
