It is with a heavy heart that I heard the news of the passing of Henry Hogg.
As the Reeve of Addington Highlands for many years, and as a Councilor and past Warden of Lennox and Addington, Henry exemplified the role of community advocate. He was strong, positive and persistent at all times, and I want to express my tremendous gratitude for all he did.
On a personal note, I am honoured to have called Henry a friend and mentor as we shared a passion for municipal service. I hope he rests easy knowing that he accomplished so much for his township and county.
My sincerest condolences to his wife and family, and all who knew him. He will stay in my heart and my memories forever.
