This morning, I had the honour of attending the Remembrance Day Service at Queen’s Park, representing the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. It was a privilege to stand with veterans, service members, Premier FordNation and colleagues honour those who served and those who continue to serve.
While I was in Toronto, I was proud to know that across Hastings–Lennox & Addington, dedicated volunteers were laying wreaths at cenotaphs and services on behalf of the Province of Ontario. Thank you.
To all who took part in services, parades, and moments of silence, thank you for helping to ensure that the sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.
Let us always honour their courage by living the values they fought to protect: freedom, peace, and community.
