The week of the non-profit sector appreciation week, I visited some local organizations to show my appreciation for the work they do. Salvation Army of Napanee is a Christian organization that gives hope and support to vulnerable people in 400 communities across Canada, including those right here in HL&A. Did you know that you can access The Good Food Box program at the Salvation Army in Napanee, which allows people to purchase fruits & vegetables at wholesale prices? Currently, a large box is $17, a small is $11, and a fruit or vegetable bag is $6.
