Standing Committee on The Interior Hearings in Timmins & Sudbury

Today the Standing Committee on The Interior leaves for 2 days of hearings in Timmins and Sudbury, to receive expert advice and testimony from stakeholders regarding the Building More Mines Act 2023.

This act will make sure that the minerals we need for the Battery plants in Southern Ontario, like the one coming to Lennox and Addington, will have the critical minerals they need from suppliers that respect the environment and the workers.
