An absolute pleasure to meet with author Amy Doyle and attend the presentation of her incredible new children’s book, “We Remember Canada’s Story”, to Premier Ford at Queen’s Park!
Teaching the next generation about the meaning of remembrance, sacrifice, and the profound contributions of our Canadian Armed Forces is important work. Amy’s book does a beautiful job of exploring our military history, from the World Wars through to modern peacekeeping missions in an engaging, age-appropriate way for kids from preschool to Grade 7.
Developed in collaboration with The Royal Canadian Legion, the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research, the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services and Canadian Veterans from across the country, this project is a wonderful tool for families and educators alike to foster empathy, respect, and deep understanding in young minds.
Thank you, Amy, for your incredible dedication to keeping the stories of our Veterans and their families alive for generations to come!
